Meramec Lakes Golf Course

After several years of working to bring this course together, we have been making real progress since Rich Lanfersieck bought the golf course. The new driveway entrance and added parking worked out nicely last year.

The new 10th, 11th and 12th holes and 13th tee will be more mature this year; quite a change for the better from the old holes! More improvements are in store for this year; the 2nd green will be enlarged and a bunker added on the right, balanced by a grassy hollow and mounding on the left, and maybe more.

The fourth hole, a “driveable” par four to a green on a peninsula in the lake, has played well. Look for more minor changes and tweaking in the years to come, as Rich won't quit until this course becomes a contender. If you haven't been here for a while, give it a try - it's not your father's Meramec Shores anymore!
